About Me
My name is Brooklyn Star. I’m a Bay Area creative whose love for art grew from a simple college elective into a lifelong calling. The first art history class taught me that art is more than aesthetics. It’s energy, emotion and conversation. It’s the heartbeat of how I see and share this world. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to creating spaces where people can engage with art in meaningful, modern ways.
Studying art across genres eventually led me to Neo- Expressionism, particularly the work of Jean Michel Basquiat. His fusion of social commentary, symbolisms and unrestrained creativity showed me that art can challenge, provoke and still remain deeply human and also that art doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
Through ART-Luv-Her, my mission is to create a space for people can experience art beyond the canvas, stay hip to both emerging and legendary artists and join the conversation happening within contemporary art spaces.
Here you’ll find introductions to artists and their pieces, insights into new exhibitions across cities and thoughtful reflections on the ideas shaping today’s art world.
